23 May NASA in Aberdeen: CPD for Secondary Science Teachers

As part of the NASA in Aberdeen collaboration three CPD workshops for secondary science teachers have been devised based on NASA and other space science resources.
The workshops have been developed by, and will be delivered by: Catherine Dunn, SSERC; Allan Reid, National Space Academy; Tim Browett, National Space Academy; and Stuart Farmer, Institute of Physics.
The three twilight sessions will be held at Aberdeen Science Centre, 179 Constitution Street, Aberdeen, AB24 5TU. The sessions will start with refreshments and registration from 16:30 with the workshops running from 17:00 to 18:30.

Staying Safe in Space
Space is a harsh environment. What is the important science behind keeping astronauts safe in space, not just in the International Space Station but on future missions to the Moon and Mars? Lots of ideas and activities to support CfE BGE.
