Join Geobus at Aberdeen Science Centre during October’s Geoheritage festival for Scotland’s Rock Story!

Piece together Scotland’s diverse geological history by investigating the mountains formed when it collided with England, discovering the evidence for an explosive volcanic past and studying the fossils that tell secrets of a once tropical climate! Through a series of hands on experiments and activities, build up your own map telling Scotland’s Rock Story – from the ancient northwest where some of the oldest rocks on the planet are found, to the modern landscape sculpted by ice.

Part of the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology.
