Aberdeen Science Centre, a recognised Scottish Educational Charity, was established in 1989. It is a pioneer of interactive science discovery in the UK and the first science centre in Scotland. Today, our enthusiastic and dynamic team continue to develop interactive and contemporary programmes that transport visitors, of all ages and backgrounds, to the heart of discovery. We attract over 54,000 visitors each year, bringing topical STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) issues to the fore through exhibitions, debates, shows and workshops that challenge views and explore evidence. We bring cutting edge research to life through collaboration with universities and industry partners. We host major events for high profile celebrations such as British Science Week and European Researchers’ Night.
Aberdeen Science Centre is passionate about making STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) accessible to everyone, regardless of age, interest or background.
