Aberdeen Science Centre

Explore the world of engineering through hands-on challenges and activities. Discover how to design and build strong structures such as bridges and towers, explore electronic circuits and learn the physics behind construction.

For children aged 9 – 12 years, this club offers a fun and inspiring way to engage with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Each session includes hands-on activities themed around engineering. The clubs run for 6 consecutive Saturdays, 1pm-3pm.

Sessions are facilitated by Aberdeen Science Centre staff. Each session includes a snack of fruit and water. Parents/guardians can drop members at the Centre and pick them up at the end of the session. Alternatively, parents/guardians can wait at The Tramsheds Café.

The membership fee is £10 for the whole 6-week block.

The Engineering Club is supported by TAQA, an energy company working in the North Sea.
