Aberdeen Science Centre aims to inspire a lifelong interest in science by creating engaging experiences.

Our clubs offer a fantastic chance for children to enjoy a more in-depth experience of STEM subjects within a relaxed enviroment.

These clubs enable children to meet new friends, develop confidence and leadership skills all while having fun through STEM based activities.

Coding Club (9-12 year olds)

In Coding Club participants are encouraged to use their imagination and explore coding through fun and engaging activities.

Our next coding club will be the 7th – 10th August 2023. Please complete the form below to express an interest. 

This club cost £25 per child.

Junior Coders (6-8 year olds)

Aberdeen Science Centre offers a coding club specifically for 6-8 year olds. Tried and tested by kids this age, the club allows children to discover programming in an age appropriate way through games, crafts and hands-on experience with coding technology.

Dates for our next junior coding club are 17th – 20th July. If you would like to express your interest in attending this club please complete the form below.

Engineering Club (9-12 Year olds)

In Engineering Club participants are encouraged to use their problem-solving and creativity skills to explore engineering through fun and hands-on activities and challenges.

The next club dates will be 24th – 27th July. If you would like to express your interest in attending this club please complete the form below.

Marine STEM Club (12-16 year olds)

Marine STEM Club is back! This time we are offering the club to children aged 12-16. Come along to STEM Club and carry out some real life field work including sample collection and analysis! You will also get to test your wildlife handling skills by getting up close with some lobsters.

The club will run from 10am – 12noon for four sessions from Sunday 28th May-18th June, and again from Monday 14th-Thursday 17th August.

This club cost £25 per person.

Molecule Madness Club (8-11 year olds)
