Aberdeen Science Centre is a unique venue located close to Aberdeen Beach, just a five minute drive from the city centre. Whether it is a private board meeting or city-wide recruitment fair, CPD training course or company AGM, or anything in between, at ASC is the ideal venue for your event. During your event, you will have the opportunity to explore the main exhibition floor, interacting and playing with our exhibits as you go.
There are three purpose-built meeting rooms to choose from within our distinctive venue, as well as a split level exhibition floor which can be redefined as a conference or drinks reception space. Our event spaces – The Atom Rooms, within the Shell Learning Zone – are readily equipped with a range of high-spec AV, including unlimited WiFi as standard. We have capacity for 2-200+ delegates at ASC and would be delighted to discuss your options with you.
Catering is provided by our partner Grub Fresh Food, ordered in advance and freshly prepared on the morning of your event. The ASC team will greet you before your meeting begins and will be on-hand to help throughout your event.

This quirky space is also know as our “Make It” and “Test It” area with exhibits laid out across the floor – perfect for a conference, exhibition, networking event, fundraiser or recruitment fair – and everything in between!
*Please note the exhibits can be cleared from the floor if required.

Day Delegate Rate Package
Aberdeen Science Centre offer both full day and half day Day Delegate Rate (DDR) packages. Full day packages are available from £38.50 + VAT pp, whilst half day packages are £35.00 + VAT pp – discounted rates are available for higher delegate numbers, please contact us to discuss. Team Building Package
Bring your team back together by booking ASC’s brand new, half-day team building package. Competitive team members unite as small groups contend for gloating rights by completing a series of challenges using the 60+ brand new exhibits. This package includes two hours of team building activities plus refreshments and a delicious lunch platter from Grub Fresh Food for just £33 + VAT per delegate.
Daytime Room Hire
Sometimes all you need is a simple yet well equipped space for a few hours and you don’t need the full day of catering, which is why we are pleased to offer a room hire only option. We understand that having an all-inclusive option, where you don’t need to add on a list of additional equipment, is important to event organisers. That’s why we include all of the below as standard when you hire one of our event spaces:

Catering can be added on separately to meet your requirements. Our room rental rates start from just £275 + VAT for a full day from 8am-5pm, please contact us for a bespoke quote.
Evening Room Hire
Aberdeen Science Centre is a unique choice of venue for your evening event. Imagine a drinks reception taking place on an exhibition floor, where delegates can experiment with our exhibits in between networking – your event would be memorable for all the right reasons. We offer special rates for evening hire between 5pm-11pm, with room rental starting from just £350 + VAT.
Standard AV/IT is included in your rental however you are welcome to bring in an external AV provider to dress the space if appropriate. Catering will be provided by Grub Fresh Food in the first instance, nonetheless we do appreciate a degree of flexibility may be required for some events. Please contact us to discuss your event.
