We’ll be looking at everything from brilliant bees to sneaky seagulls, the tallest trees to the smallest sea life.
What to Expect:
Brilliant Bees Show Through captivating science demos you will discover the incredible world of bees, from identifying different species to understanding their anatomy. We’ll also look at the ins and out of pollination and beekeeping of the famous honeybees.
Pop-up Exhibit on Bees! Get up close and personal with bees in our temporary display. Examine pollen and bee parts under a microscope, play interactive games, and learn about local bee populations.
Urban Animal Behaviour How do animals adapt to urban environments? Explore the behaviours of animals, from foxes to rabbits, and understand their survival strategies.
Under 6s Zone Our littlest nature investigators can enjoy science stories with matching activities. Help act out the life cycle of a tree and make friends with bees through stories and crafts.
Tree-Mendous Workshop ( *Only from July-August)
Dive into the fascinating science of trees with hands-on activities like tree ring dating, tree measuring, and plant and animal identification.
