The Science of Whisky

The Science of Whisky

Join Aberdeen Science Centre for an evening of discovery as we explore The Science of Whisky, on Thursday, 22nd May.

Mike Stuart from Inverurie Whisky Shop will be joined by independent bottler Andrew Smith of Little Brown Dog to explore the science behind Scotland’s national drink, including a tasting of three different drams. The selection is specially designed to explore the influence of the cask on whisky – where much more than just flavour develops!

Following the tasting, there will be the opportunity to purchase bottles should you wish and ask your own questions on all things whisky.

Whether you’re a curious newcomer or seasoned enthusiast, this is your chance to sip and learn.

  • Arrival from 6.30pm to explore the centre and get settled.
  • Event begins at 7pm and will end at 9pm.
  • £25 per ticket
