Aberdeen Science Centre is excited to announce a special promotion, running from 8th – 30th September, 2024. Visitors who choose to travel sustainably to ASC can enjoy 50% off their entry ticket by providing proof of their eco-friendly journey at our ticket desk.
To claim, visitors must buy their ticket at reception on the day of their sustainable journey. Limited tickets available; once they’re gone, the discount will no longer apply.
Your green journey will lead to exciting discoveries with over 65 exhibits to be explored! We can’t wait to welcome you!
Please note: The Centre will be closed on both the 17th and 19th September for private events. We are also closed Sat, 28th afternoon.
Promotion Details and T&Cs
- Half-price entry is for the day you travel to ASC, it is not transferable to another date.
- Walk-ins only. This deal is not available online and no refunds will be given to those who purchase online.
- Visitors must arrive by foot, wheelchair, bike/scooters public transport, electric vehicle (EV), bike, or any other environmentally friendly means.
- Proof Required: Bus tickets, photos of the journey, scooters or bike helmets in hand, or proof of parking in our EV or bike space etc.
- Dates: 8-30 September 2024
- Subject to Limited availability. Once limited tickets run out, the offer will terminate.
- Offer excludes group bookings of 10+
- Not valid on annual memberships (STEM Passports), gift vouchers or shop products
- The centre is closed on the 17th and 19th September.
Background
This promotion is part of our broader commitment to sustainability and coincides with the launch of our new workshop, “Fuelling the Future,” which will take place throughout weekends and school holidays in September and October. The 30 min workshop will explore climate change, the environmental impact our travel choices have on us and our environment, and alternative transportation solutions through hands-on experiments.
This incentive has been funded by Smarter Choices Smarter Places, which is Paths for All’s programme to increase active and sustainable travel throughout Scotland. The programme is grant-funded by Transport Scotland.
