SolQuest exhibit launches at Aberdeen Science Centre

Visitors to Aberdeen Science Centre will now have the chance to discover more about the power of the sun thanks to our brand new virtual learning exhibit, Sonnedix SolQuest!

This interactive exhibit takes visitors on a virtual journey to the Sonnedix Atacama Solar plant in Chile, showing how a real solar PV plant works and how to produce clean renewable energy while still protecting and enhancing the environment and improving the lives of local communities.

Aberdeen Science Centre is proud to be working with Sonnedix Power Holdings Limited (together with its subsidiaries, Sonnedix), a global producer of solar photovoltaic plants.

It launched its Sonnedix Sustainability Academy in 2020, with the aim of reaching 100,000 learners by 2023. The company is continuously looking for ways to deliver different educational resources and learning experiences to children and young adults, partnering with teachers and institutions globally and providing access to education opportunities on climate change, sustainability, renewables and solar energy.

Sonnedix SolQuest can be found in our Energy Zone, next to our current wind and wave energy exhibits.
