Rocket Lab Workshop 

Ever wondered how we get off Earth and into space? Join our Rocket Lab workshop and explore the science behind rocket launches through a series of exciting hands-on experiments. 

Build and launch your own paper rocket, discover how electrolysis works, and prepare to be amazed by our Genie in a Bottle experiment. 

Science on the Spot 

Get ready for a cosmic collection of hands-on science with our Science on the Spot activities. Explore the hidden world of heat using an infrared camera, discover the surprising science behind space nappies, and investigate light and colour with our spectroscopy kit. 

You can also get to grips with the enormous scale of the Solar System, find out how spacecraft are protected from extreme conditions with our protection tile activity, and enjoy more of our favourite Science on the Spot experiments along the way. 

Under 6s Session 

Our youngest explorers can join the cosmic fun too! Settle in for the story of Penguinaut! before getting creative with a hands-on cardboard tube rocket craft. 

Perfect for curious little minds, this special Under 6s session introduces children to the excitement of space through storytelling, making and imaginative play.

Around the centre, you’ll find lots more fun and interactive activities along with all your favourite exhibits!
