Aberdeen Science Centre is a 5-star visitor attraction with a very enviable reputation helping visitors to the centre, schools and community groups be inspired into a lifelong interest with science. Our corporate events bookings and fundraising efforts continue to grow following the opening of our £6m redeveloped building in 2020 so now is the most exciting time in our almost 35-year history to join our exceptional team and help us achieve our ambitious aims.

Aberdeen Science Centre is seeking a Fundraising Manager to drive our corporate sponsorship income and support wider fundraising activities across the charity. This key role will help secure vital funding to enhance our STEM education and engagement initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Fundraising Manager will play a crucial part in achieving corporate sponsorship targets. They will identify and secure sponsorships that support both restricted and unrestricted activities, ensuring sustainable funding for the centre’s programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraising professional to make a significant impact, helping to secure the future of STEM education and outreach in the region.

Aberdeen Science Centre (ASC) is seeking a Marketing & Research Intern to support a project aimed at understanding and overcoming barriers to community engagement. This role will be instrumental in gathering insights, shaping marketing strategies, and evaluating visitor experiences to enhance accessibility and outreach.

This internship would be best suited to someone who is outgoing and is confident in
approaching and engaging with the public. They should have an understanding of market
research and marketing and be able to put their skills into action.
