COVID-19: Guidelines For Your Visit
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are currently open Wednesday – Sunday from 10am to 5pm except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. On weekdays during term time we may be busy with school groups, if you require a quieter visit we recommend you come after 2pm. We hope to get back to our normal 7 days a week opening as soon as the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
Venue hire including special events, meeting room hire and group visits are available outwith the times below.

Due to Covid-19 we are working with a significantly reduced capacity. It is essential that all tickets are booked in advance.
We are closed throughout the level 4 restrictions.
Your admission ticket includes time to explore the exhibition floor with over 60 hands-on exhibits and attend all public shows and workshops. There are no additional costs for exhibitions once inside the centre.
Group discount rates are available for organised groups. There is a minimum number of 10 people and these must be booked in advance. Contact us to find out more about group visits.

The government has a special scheme for charities like Aberdeen Science Centre. The prices displayed include a voluntary 10% donation to your ticket prices. If you are a UK tax payer, we’re allowed to claim Gift Aid on the whole amount you’ve paid which helps us inspire more people with science. How to Find ASC
The number 15 bus running between Union Street and Footdee stops on Links Road just outside the science centre.
Stagecoach buses from Aberdeenshire travel along King Street. Alight the bus at Kings Community Church and walk down Urquhart Road, turning right onto Links Road and we’re located on your right.
Walk Union Street down towards Castlegate onto Justice Street. Stay left on Justice Street and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Park Street. Turn Right onto Constitution Street and Aberdeen Science Centre is located at the end of the road.

All trains arrive at Aberdeen Railway Station inside Union Square. Taxis are available from here or it is a 20 minute walk to the Science Centre.

Aberdeen Science Centre
We have our own car park located on Constitution Street to the left of the main entrance with space for around 35 cars. However there are multiple nearby options available within walking distance.
Beach Esplanade has plenty of free parking spaces all along the beachfront just 5 minutes walk along Links Road from our front door.
Queens Link Leisure Park is again, about 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction along Links Road with a multitude of car parking spaces available.
