Aberdeen Science Centre is a 5-star visitor attraction with a very enviable reputation helping visitors to the centre, schools and community groups be inspired into a lifelong interest with science. Our corporate events bookings and fundraising efforts continue to grow following the opening of our £6m redeveloped building in 2020 so now is the most exciting time in our almost 35-year history to join our exceptional team and help us achieve our ambitious aims.
We are seeking a STEM Engagement Assistant to interact with all visitors in a friendly, outgoing
manner ensuring they have a 5* experience at all times. This flexible role will cover engagements on the exhibition floor, delivering shows, workshops and birthday parties, and to support the
development of all programmes.
Reporting to the Public & Digital Programme Coordinator, the successful candidate will join an
enthusiastic and passionate team and will support the strategic development and growth of the
science centre through effective assistance of our financial procedures.
You will require to have an enthusiasm for a large variety of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic topics, a full driving licence as well as excellent communication, teamwork and
interpersonal skills.
