This booklet is a visual guide that can be used by any visitors who may wish to plan their visit in more detail prior to arrival.
Sensory Box
We have a sensory box filled with fiddle toys and some ear defenders. If you would like to borrow anything from the box please you will be able to collect this from reception.
Aberdeen Science Centre facilities include:
Families
- Breastfeeding friendly throughout (a private room can be organised upon request)
- Unmanned cloakroom with lockers and buggy storage (items left at owners risk)
- Baby changing facilities
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Visitors
- Free entrance for carer with every paid admission
- The induction loop is available at reception and the gift shop

Visitors with limited mobility and wheelchair users
- Free parking including disability bays (filled on a first come first served basis)
- Free entrance for carer with every paid admission
- Low level counter payment points
- Accessible toilets throughout the building with emergency alarm system
- Wheel chair access throughout with ramps for ease of access
Blind and partially sighted visitors
- Free entrance for carer with every paid admission
- Assistance dogs welcome and water bowl available on request
Changing Places facilities
- Located near reception
- Available for everyone, whether visiting the science centre or not
- You will need to provide your own sling
Other facilities
- Free parking with two electric charging points (filled on a first come, first served basis)
- First Aid Room
- Shop
