Come along to Aberdeen Science Centre for a free, fun-filled evening of chemistry on Friday 14 August, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
Our headline activity is the Cookbook Chemistry Show, where volunteers can bring chemistry to life with exciting experiments inspired by our very own cookbook. Best of all, many of these experiments can be recreated at home using everyday household materials.
Explore the exhibition floor and take part in a range of drop-in chemistry-themed activities designed for families to enjoy together.
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet professional chemists, learn about their work, discover how they got into the field, and take part in activities they have brought along to share.
Expect to see favourites including:
- Volcano eruptions
- Slime making
- Red cabbage indicator experiments
- Bouncy eggs
- Magic milk
And plenty more!
Recommended for children aged 7+
Tickets are free but advanced booking is required!
