Come and join us at Aberdeen Science Centre’s Mission:Engineer. With packed workshops and building fun there’s something for everyone, whether you’re new to engineering or a seasoned pro!
What to expect:
🧱 Workshop: Designed for Impact
In this hands-on workshop you will be introduced to the exciting world of engineering. Participants will explore different branches of engineering and their real-world applications and discover the essential skills every engineer needs. You will then learn the fundamentals of the design process before putting your ideas into action by building your very own prototype
Perfect for curious minds ready to think creatively, problem-solve, and design with impact!
📖 Under 6 story session
After listening to the story of the three little pigs, children will bring the story to life by building houses from straw, sticks and bricks, just like in the story! Their building skills will be tested when the big bad wolf comes to blow the houses down!
🏗️ Tinker Lab
There will be a a choice of challenges to choose from in these sessions. Children can chose from a mix of building materials like K’Nex, Lego, cardboard, paper and recyclable materials!
🧠 Floor activities
There will be activities around the centre all themed around Engineering!
