This fun festive session is perfect for kids aged 5-12 and is packed with the magic of science and Christmas while giving you a chance to meet Santa!
Here’s what you can expect:
Workshop: Reindeer Spa Day
With Christmas around the corner, Santa’s reindeer need to look their sparkly best, and what better way to do that than with a spa day! So come along and help Santa and treat yourself as we create soaps fit for a reindeer spa day.
Meet Santa: The highlight of the day is a visit to Santa! Children can share their Christmas wishes with him and receive a small gift.
Scavenger Hunt: Children will embark on a scavenger hunt, exploring every corner of the Science Centre!
Make and Take Activity Station: Put your creativity to the test by crafting ornaments and other festive makes!
Explore the Science Centre: The fun doesn’t stop there! After taking part in all of the festive activities, you’re welcome to stay and explore. There’s a café on-site where you can grab a snack before heading off to explore again, or you can bring a packed lunch!
Perfect for curious kids, creative minds, and anyone who wants to add a little science sparkle to their season. Spaces are limited — don’t let Rudolph beat you to it!”
Pricing:
- £18.95 first child, includes 2 free adults
- £13.95 each additional child
- £10 per STEM Passport child
- £8.50 for any adults over and above the 2 free adults per 18.95 child
Ticket includes Reindeer Spa Workshop, photo opportunity and gift from Santa, make-and-take activities and time to explore the exhibition floor. After booking, you will be contacted with a specific timeslot to take part in the workshop and meet Santa. On arrival, you will be given a suggested timetable to follow for all of the festive activities. You must attend the workshop slot you have been allocated, but it is up to you how to spend the rest of your time in the Centre.
