School Visits

Visit Aberdeen Science Centre with your class:

During a half-day visit, pupils will have the opportunity to explore our exhibition floor, interacting with over 65 hands-on exhibits, spread across 6 zones, and take part in one of our engaging, curriculum-linked workshops.

We offer two schools time slots a day, 10-12, or 12:30-2:30. If you are planning a visit for multiple classes, we are able to accommodate two classes (of max. 35 pupils each) in the centre in each time slot.

Resources For Sustainability

We’ve been hitting the road this summer with our Sustainable SuperStars Roadshow, bringing hands-on climate and sustainability activities to communities across the North East of Scotland.

Want to keep the learning going at home? Check out extra resources here.

Our Roadshow has been funded by ScottishPower Foundation.

Everything was explained clearly throughout the whole visit. Clear expectations wear given to the pupils and appropriate timings. The trip was well organised by everyone. The classes had an amazing time and enjoyed the exhibits and the circuits lesson. There was something for everyone to do no matter what level they were. They were exploring, investigating and trying new things. Thank you. This is my third time coming with a P6 class and every year it has been amazing.

“All children were very happy at the end of the day. Many children that usually struggle to engage were very involved with the workshop and answering questions which was lovely to see. Staff were great with the children and the support I had at booking and pre visit stage was also very good. All individual needs were met – thank you.”

We are excited to be a Supporter of the STEM Nation Award  programme.
